Introduction to Environments

Environments are used for access control, to control backup policy and to provide logical isolation. You can use separate Environments to isolate access to specific Apps or Databases to specific members of your organization.

Please note that Apps or Databases separated by Environments are logically isolated but will still share networks and underlying hosts, if the environments are on the same Stack. Use separate stacks for network isolation of your apps and databases.

You can create as many Environments as you want, for free.
